St.Grigorenko, 11 | Murphy Bed & Sofa Combo "ALADINO"

Do you think Big Ben is only in London? And since 2018 it has been under restoration, so it is not yet clear when we will all be able to look at it. So we found a solution - to create our own in Kiev, so that, as they say, we don't have to go far.

 

 We have got an interesting symbiosis of British and Italian in one project. For a one-room apartment on Poznyaki, we have designed a wardrobe-bed-sofa ALADINO based on the Italian transformation mechanism. Which allows you to turn the living room into a bedroom with one movement of the hand in a matter of seconds. We would like to note that this is the most comfortable bed to use, since it is equipped with an automatic sofa that folds independently due to the transformation mechanism. Opening the bed, we get our homemade Big Ben. The bed has a standard double bed size - 160x200cm and many useful things: a soft headboard, lighting, built-in chargers, which will allow you to comfortably read William Shakespeare before going to bed or "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" to immerse yourself in British culture as much as possible. We selected the design of the facades in the same style, so in this project we combined three basic colors: blue, red, white - the flag of Britain.

 

Clients decided to transform the balcony into a home office, we created a large work desk with drawers for storing the necessary documents, books, etc. Hinged covered shelves were installed on top of the table. Since the office and the main room do not have partitions, it was decided to divide the zones using an installed bookshelf, which will allow the room to be divided into two rooms, but without depriving access to the only light source - the window.
